Email Course Synopsis

The Email course uses Windows Live Mail; but the interface for most other email clients is sufficiently similar to Windows Live Mail that the course should be applicable to them as well.

The course covers the Windows Live Mail interface; setting up an account; reading an incoming message; and composing an outgoing message.

It continues with the usage of Contact Lists (Address Books) and Category (group) listings.

The use of mail folders and mail rules, and of the Deleted Items folder, are explained.

The student then learns of incoming and outgoing attachments, and how to handle attachments that are not recognized by the computer.

Finally the use of the Calendar application within Windows Live Mail is explored.
