Chain store vs. Specialist retailer
Several chain stores offer a good range of computers - Harvey Norman, JB Hi Fi, Officeworks, RT Edwards and The Good Guys spring to mind. But you should also consider the smaller retailer.

For example, the chain store will require you to return the computer to them, and then send it away to be fixed; the specialist will often make a house call to sort out your problems.
